Blue and Green Transparent Kiln Carved Art Piece

This gorgeous custom designed and handmade piece measures approximately 21x8x3 inches in stand. The glass piece is 18x4 inches. This piece was custom made from beginning to end. Intricate designs are cut into sheets of ceramic paper that are placed under the glass. The glass is heated to over 1500 degrees to imprint the design in the glass.
 
This piece was designed, cut, and assembled by hand, and required multiple day long firings in our kiln at temperatures up to 1500 degrees Fahrenheit.

Please Note: All items are hand made and each is unique. There are innate characteristics of the glass that may create bubbles or other slight imperfections when fired to nearly 1500 degrees Fahrenheit. This is a natural occurrence with all glass and does not diminish the beauty of the piece.
