Blue, Green, Orange & White Hi-Lo Murrini Bowl

This gorgeous custom designed and handmade bowl measures approximately 8.5 inches in diameter.  This bowl was custom made from beginning to end.  Each piece of murrini was hand pulled in-house via a process that involves melting sheets of glass at a temperature of 1500 degrees Fahrenheit.  The hot glass is then pulled by hand into long rods and ultimately cut into small cross-sections to reveal the unique color and pattern.  Each piece of murrini is custom designed for its unique color and pattern.  
 
This bowl consists of a combination of hundreds of pieces of beautiful murrini patterns and white stripes.  The colors include various shades of blue, green, orange and white.   This dish was designed, cut, and assembled by hand, and required multiple day long firings in our kiln at temperatures up to 1460 degrees Fahrenheit.
