Color Reaction Turquoise and Ivory Glass Bowl

When copper and sulfur containing glasses interface they can produce a reaction or color change. This stunning hand cut centerpiece bowl contains both a copper bearing turquoise blue glass and a sulfur bearing vanilla cream glass. The “reaction” can be seen where the two glasses interface.
 
Approximately 10” diameter bowl. Hand washing recommended. 
 
Please Note:  All items are hand made and each is unique.  There are innate characteristics of the glass that may create bubbles or other slight imperfections when fired to nearly 1500 degrees Fahrenheit.  This is a natural occurrence with all glass and does not diminish the beauty of the piece.
