Red Transparent Iridescent Large Wall Flower

This beautiful red transparent iridescent wall flower was hand cut and assembled in our glass studio.  Upon firing, the iridescent glass produced unique colors which vary from the original red.  The flower appears pink, purple, gold and silver in different areas with red appearing when light shines through the glass.  Each piece of the flower was hand cut from a sheet of glass.  To achieve the texture and shape of the flower, the glass pieces were then placed in our kilns for multiple day long firings at temperatures up to 1460 degrees Fahrenheit.  The flower includes a glass hanger that is affixed to the back and hangs over a common nail or screw on the wall.
 
This glass flower measures approximately 11" in diameter and approximately 3" in depth.
 
Please Note:  All items are hand made and each is unique.  There are innate characteristics of the glass that may create bubbles or other slight imperfections when fired to nearly 1500 degrees Fahrenheit.  This is a natural occurrence with all glass and does not diminish the beauty of the piece.
